Germans: We are beautiful

BERLIN: Germany have already won at the World Cup before a ball has been kicked – their jersey is the most attractive of any of 32 qualifiers in South Africa, at least according to a poll of German fashion experts.

The white shirt with black trim emblazoned with the badge incorporating the German eagle finished ahead of Greece and Brazil.

But the fashionistas took a dim view of the white shirts of the United States and England, which finished bottom of the survey and were judged to be “more suitable for baseball and tennis”. — AFP
